At A’GACI, I took on the role of lead creative copywriter and was given creative control of copy from the subject line, all the way down to proofreading the terms & conditions.
Working at Fashion Nova gave me the ability to learn even more about how copy affects e-mail marketing by giving me the opportunity to work on juniors’, curve and men’s emailers, all with distinct voices, aesthetics, selling points, and goals, as well as A/B testing subject lines.
At Torrid, I wrote branded emails for companies’ DTR collections, such as Warner Brothers, Disney, and HBO, that required distinct voices and a knowledge of the intellectual property. I also collaborated with designers and project managers on marketing emails for Torrid, Torrid LoveSick, Torrid x Betsey Johnson, and Torrid Curve.
I got to roll up my sleeves and work agency-side when I tackled work with Timbuk2 on their high-quality, sustainably minded travel bags and backpacks and Mavix & X-Chair on more technical copy for high-performance chairs for professional and gaming audiences.
